SIC Insurance Acting MD champions stronger collaboration with brokers

The Acting Managing Director of SIC Insurance PLC, Mr. James Agyenim-Boateng, has emphasized the need for closer collaboration between insurance companies and brokerage firms to strengthen the capacity and resilience of Ghana’s insurance industry.
He made this call during a courtesy visit to the Managing Director of KEK Insurance Brokers, Mr. Shaibu Ali, at the company’s offices in Accra on Thursday.
Mr. Agyenim-Boateng, who praised Mr. Ali—also the President of the Insurance Brokers Association of Ghana (IBAG)—for organizing a successful brokers' conference in Kwahu, expressed his commitment to deepening engagement with key players across the insurance sector.
“I know businesses like insurance thrive on having a reliable pool of like-minded friends, and I am determined to court industry players for the benefit of SIC,” he said, stressing the need for stronger relationships to drive the growth of the industry.
He pledged to collaborate with KEK Insurance Brokers and other firms to explore new business opportunities, support mutual growth, and develop innovative insurance solutions. “There is a new dawn at SIC Insurance PLC, and I encourage all stakeholders to come on board,” he added.
For his part, Mr. Shaibu Ali welcomed the visit and commended Mr. Agyenim-Boateng for his proactive engagement. He assured him of KEK’s willingness to work with SIC on business prospecting, product development, and other areas of mutual interest.
In a related development, Mr. Agyenim-Boateng also paid a visit to ArrowClass Insurance Brokers Limited, where he reinforced the call for collaboration within the industry.
