On October 7, the number rose to 687 when the country recorded 17 new cases.
The GHS has urged the public to remain vigilant and practice good hygiene to help curb the spread of the virus, which is primarily transmitted through close contact with an infected person.
Common symptoms of Mpox include: fever, rash, headache, muscle aches, swollen lymph nodes, chills, and tiredness.
The Service advised that anyone experiencing these symptoms should immediately report to the nearest health facility for examination and treatment.
