Akua Donkor calls Jean Mensa 'God-Sent,' criticises NDC for undermining EC
The Founder and Leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Madam Akua Donkor, has voiced her frustration with the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), accusing the party of unfairly scrutinising the Electoral Commission (EC).
During the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting held on Tuesday, 1 October 2024, Ms. Donkor warned that the NDC’s actions seem intended to create chaos and damage the EC's credibility in the eyes of Ghanaians.
The GFP leader praised the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for its cooperative approach towards the EC’s initiatives, urging the NDC to follow suit.
"The EC Chairperson is God-sent, and nothing anyone does against her will succeed," she emphasised, demonstrating her unwavering confidence in the commission’s leadership.
