Black Stars hold mini-golf team-bonding session ahead of Wales friendly and World Cup
The Black Stars paused their intensive field training on Sunday morning for a team-bonding mini-golf session at their hotel course in Cardiff, as preparations continue for Tuesday's international friendly against Wales and the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
All 25 players currently in camp, including forward Antoine Semenyo who arrived late Saturday evening, participated in the activity alongside the technical staff.
The relaxed session followed a series of high-intensity training programmes led by Head Coach Carlos Queiroz at Dragon Park.
The upcoming fixture serves as Ghana’s final warm-up match before heading to the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
The Black Stars have been drawn into Group L for the tournament, alongside Panama, England, and Croatia.
Ghana will open their World Cup campaign against Panama in Toronto on June 17, followed by group-stage matches against England and Croatia.
The international friendly against Wales will take place at the Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday, June 2, with kick-off scheduled for 6:45 PM.
