Mustapha Gbande urges calm and patience amid concerns over Jobs and party relations

The Deputy General Secretary (Operations) of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Comrade Foyo Mustapha Gbande, has appealed for calm among party members and supporters as the leadership works to address concerns relating to employment and internal party relations.
In a statement issued on behalf of the party’s leadership and the President, Mr Gbande acknowledged the diverse concerns expressed by members and sympathisers, noting that such feedback reflects the passion and commitment of the NDC’s grassroots.
“We appreciate all concerns, in whatever form they come, from the rank and file of the party, as well as from members and non-members alike.
I urge everyone to remain calm as we explore practical ways to address all matters relating to jobs and relationships,” he said.
He emphasised that leadership’s foremost duty is to serve the people and to work collectively toward improving the common challenges confronting citizens and party members alike.
Mr Gbande added that no one should be faulted for not having full knowledge of ongoing processes, assuring that all voices have been heard “loud and clear.”
“We only ask that you grant us the space and time to find lasting solutions, even if gradually.
Our government continues to make steady progress, regardless of the challenges,” he stated.
Calling for restraint and constructive engagement, Mr Gbande reminded members that patience and resilience have always been pillars of the NDC’s collective strength.
“We stand fully with you — on behalf of the President and the leadership of our great party.
Remember, patience and resilience always triumph in the end,” he concluded.
The statement comes at a time when sections of the public and some party faithful have expressed concerns over job placements and internal coordination within the party.
The NDC leadership maintains that it remains committed to addressing these concerns while ensuring unity, progress, and equitable opportunities for all.
